First Feed

~~~He watched her, his once indelible grin disappearing from his face. What was happening to Celeste? He observed the girl as she lay there, her body writhing and then still. Her skin had paled to almost white, her eyes glowed ever more crimson, her nails lengthened. She stood momentarily, raised her head and breathed in deep, closing her bloodlust eyes. A low hiss escaped her teeth and she uttered one word, barely a whisper. "Thirsty..." They flew open swiftly and the woman turned on one heel and raced towards town. Her long hair blew out behind her in silken waves as she took off at remarkable speed. He chased her, knowing that he'd never be able to catch up, but so what? Something was happening to Celeste and it didn't matter. Lucas felt his adrenaline kick into overdrive as he raced towards the small town where she had disappeared into. People were screaming with fear sounding in their voices, scattering about and running as fast they could. He tried to spot her in the crowd, but couldn't find her. Panicking, Lucas pushed past them to find his girl crouched down. He started to make his way towards her when she sprang like a lioness on the hunt. A terrible growl unleashed itself from somewhere in the bowels of her diaphragm and the blond man watched in horror as Celeste attacked a helpless older man running for his life. He was clutching his hat on his head so as not to lose it, and looking back over his shoulder, trying so desperately to outrun his attacker.

Celeste hissed and within moments was on top of the man. She threw her gorgeous head back, screamed into the night and plunged her mouth right into the side of the man's neck, sinking sharp fangs into soft, human flesh. Lucas wanted to shield his eyes, but couldn't. Instead, his blue orbs widened as he watched the girl drain the man of nearly every ouce of blood he once possessed. [i]Oh...oh God Celeste![/i] Lucas could feel tears burning behind his eyelids as he watched Celeste lifted the man with one hand and throw his body aside with ease. She stood and slowly turned, not yet facing him, the thirst burning in her crimson irises, but somehow he knew...Lucas knew that Celeste wouldn't hurt him. Vampire or not, his girl would not do anything to harm him. He slowly began to make his way towards her when she whirled around, glaring at him fiercely, her eyes flashing and flinging blood.

"Don't come in any closer, Lucas!" her voice rang out through the night. It wasn't those normal, soft and feminine tones that Lucas had grown so accustomed to. It was as if something were possessing her. It wasn't her normal voice at all. "I SAID DON'T COME ANY CLOSER!" she warned. Lucas noticed the fresh blood sliding down pearly white fangs and down the sides of her mouth, dripping off her chin. There was blood splattered on her clothes. Her shirt, scarf and gloves were torn. Just how many people had she fed from? What had she been doing? Lucas shook his blond head and continued slowly towards her.

"You won't hurt me...," he told her, doubt wasn't heard in his tone, but Lucas honestly didn't know now if she would or not. Celeste opened her mouth wide and hissed.

"STAY AWAY FROM ME!" she warned with a wild growl in her tone mixed with a slight hint of desperation. "I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M CAPABLE OF RIGHT NOW, LUCAS!" ~~~

My vampire OC Celeste. I know she's familiar to you guys. She's my main OC. The blood was fun to do xD I don't have much left to say except that I'm extremely ill and so I'm not going to work today, so I decided to do this. Sorry for some of the sketchiness. I didn't want to full, perfect lineart, so I just sketched the lineart basically and then went from there. Sorry for the blood! I hope it doesn't bother any of you. Download for full view!
