Crimson Biohazard pushed back the makeshift, graffiti boards that made up the doorway to the safe house and stumbled into the kitchen and dining area, breathing heavily, lightly sweating, and heart thrumming so heavily against her ribcage, it felt as though the entire top half of her frame were trembling with each beat. She braced one hand against the back of the booth, placed her other over her vibrating chest and lowered her pig-tailed head, shaking it back and forth, causing ebony bangs to fall into her face, shielding her eyes. What the hell just happened?
