HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!! And what a way to kick off 2013 but with some art of our beloved Gee!
Alright, so I really don't know how I came up with this idea, but I did! There is a lot of symbolism in this picture. I've been working on it for a few days now, but I actually feel like it turned out better than I had originally finished and anticipated it. Though I struggled like hell with Gerard's profile images, so I really hope I did him justice... it was very very hard to get them right. I'm still trying to decide if I'm happy with them or not. Basically, these are images of who Gerard used to be back during Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, The Black Parade and his most recent "alter ego" known as Party Poison from the Danger Days album. I guess the two surrounding him are the shadows of his past, of who and what he used to be and so it sort of represents that. I wanted to do one with his black hair, his blond hair and his red hair to show how much he's grown and changed over the years. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy this one. I really had a blast making it!
